Our Services

  • Enhance your natural brows with semi-permanent definition tailored just for you. Microblading creates fine, hair-like strokes to mimic the look of real brow hairs, while microshading adds a soft, powdered effect for a more filled-in, makeup-ready finish. These techniques can be used alone or combined for a beautifully balanced, customized look.

Every brow service begins with a detailed mapping session, where we carefully measure and design your brows based on your unique bone structure, facial symmetry, and existing brow hair. This ensures your final result is natural-looking, flattering, and perfectly proportional to your features. The result? Brows that enhance your expression and frame your face—effortlessly.

  • Lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattooing technique that enhances the natural color, shape, and symmetry of your lips. This treatment gently defines the lip border, restores pigment, and gives the illusion of fullness—creating a soft, natural-looking pout without the need for filler.

Each session begins with a personalized consultation and shape-mapping process to ensure your results are perfectly balanced and flattering. Your artist will also assess your natural lip tone and undertones, applying principles of color theory to select or custom-blend a pigment that complements your complexion beautifully. Whether you're looking for a barely-there blush or a richer tint, we’ll create a shade that looks like your lips, only better.

The result? A revived, more youthful appearance with a kiss of long-lasting color and effortless elegance.

  • Permanent eyeliner enhances your eyes with subtle, smudge-proof definition that lasts. Whether you prefer a soft lash enhancement or a more defined liner look, this treatment is customized to flatter your eye shape and complement your natural features—no daily makeup required.

Your artist will begin with a thorough consultation to determine your desired style, thickness, and pigment tone. Using precision mapping and color theory, we tailor the placement and shade to enhance your eyes and bring out their natural beauty. From barely-there definition to a classic, clean liner, the result is a timeless look that stays put through workouts, tears, and busy mornings.

Say goodbye to smudging and uneven wings—and hello to effortless, everyday elegance.

  • Paramedical tattooing is a specialized, restorative technique designed to reduce the visibility of scars and stretch marks by blending them with your natural skin tone. This non-invasive procedure not only camouflages uneven texture and pigment, but also supports your skin’s healing process by encouraging collagen production and healthy cell turnover.

Each treatment is tailored to the unique needs of your skin, with most clients seeing optimal results after 1–3 sessions. Whether your concerns stem from surgery, injury, stretch marks, or other skin trauma, paramedical tattooing offers a powerful way to reclaim your confidence and feel more at home in your own skin.

At The Remedy Collective, we approach this service with compassion, precision, and artistry—because healing is more than skin deep.

    Is Paramedical Tattooing Painful?
Most clients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. A topical numbing agent is used to ensure your comfort throughout the treatment. Sensitivity can vary depending on the location and condition of the skin, but we prioritize your comfort every step of the way.

Am I a Candidate for Paramedical Tattooing?
You may be a great candidate if you have scars or stretch marks that are fully healed, flat, and at least 12 months old. Paramedical tattooing is ideal for clients with lighter or darker areas of scar tissue they’d like to blend into their natural skin tone. During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin, discuss your goals, and create a personalized plan that supports both your skin and your confidence.

How Many Sessions Will I Need?
While some clients see beautiful results after just one session, most will need 1–3 treatments for optimal blending and skin revision. We space sessions out to allow proper healing and monitor your skin’s response along the way to ensure the best outcome.

  • Inkless revision is a non-invasive treatment that stimulates the skin’s natural healing process to improve the texture, tone, and appearance of stretch marks and certain types of scars. Unlike traditional camouflage tattooing, no pigment is used—instead, a custom blend of serums is applied using a needling technique to trigger collagen production and cell turnover.

This treatment works on all skin types and is effective on both new and old stretch marks, regardless of their color. For scar revision, the scar must be fully healed (at least one year old) and showing signs of hyperpigmentation (darkened areas). We do not treat hypopigmented scars—those appearing lighter than your natural skin tone—as they don’t respond well to this technique.

While the treatment helps improve skin texture and tone over time, it’s important to note: it often looks worse before it gets better. Initial redness, flaking, and darkening are completely normal and part of the body’s natural healing response.

    Who Is Not a Candidate?
For safety reasons, you should avoid this treatment if you:

    • Are under the age of 18

    • Are currently pregnant or breastfeeding

    • Have eczema, psoriasis, or other skin conditions in the treatment area

    • Have uncontrolled diabetes or a history of skin cancer

    • Are prone to keloid scarring (minor surgical scarring may be assessed on a case-by-case basis)

    • Are currently taking Accutane or have used it within the past 12 months

    Healing Process

    • Peeling, Flaking & Hyperpigmentation: The area may feel tight and begin to peel or darken within a few days—this is expected. Hyperpigmentation can last up to 6 weeks as the skin regenerates.

    • Dryness & Itching: A feeling of tightness or mild itchiness is common and can usually be soothed with a thin layer of A&D ointment.

    • Healing Time: Surface healing typically takes 2–3 weeks, but deeper layers of the skin can take 4–6 weeks or longer to fully recover.

    • Touch-Ups: Additional sessions may be needed. For texture-related revisions, touch-ups can be performed as early as 4 weeks. For color-related concerns, we recommend waiting at least 6 weeks.

FAQs

What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup, also known as cosmetic tattooing, is a specialized technique where pigment is carefully implanted into the skin to create natural-looking, long-lasting enhancements. This service is perfect for those looking to simplify their daily routine or enhance their features with soft, smudge-proof definition. Whether it’s beautifully shaped brows, subtly defined eyes, or a fuller-looking lip tint, permanent makeup offers a low-maintenance solution with lasting results. At The Remedy Collective, Kendall approaches each treatment with an artistic eye and a commitment to enhancing your natural beauty—never overpowering it.

Is Permanent Makeup Painful?

While everyone’s sensitivity varies, most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort—similar to light scratching or a quick rubber band snap. It’s not a spa facial, but it’s also not unbearable. To ensure your comfort, we apply a high-quality topical anesthetic (lidocaine) before and during the procedure to minimize any discomfort. The process is quick, and most clients find it very manageable. Our goal is to keep you as relaxed and at ease as possible throughout your appointment.

Who is a good candidate for Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is for anyone looking to enhance their natural features, simplify their routine, or regain confidence in their appearance. Whether you're always on the go or simply want to wake up with your “face halfway on,” this treatment offers a beautiful blend of convenience and self-expression.

It’s especially beneficial for:

  • Busy professionals and parents who want to streamline their mornings

  • Individuals experiencing hair loss from conditions like alopecia or undergoing cancer treatment

  • Those with poor eyesight or mobility challenges, including MS, Parkinson’s, or arthritis

  • Anyone tired of trying to perfect their brows every day

  • Clients looking to correct or refresh outdated permanent makeup

  • Makeup lovers who want a long-lasting, polished look without the daily application

From enhancing your natural beauty to supporting your daily ease and confidence, permanent makeup can be life-changing in the most beautiful way.

How long will my Permanent Makeup Last?

Permanent makeup is designed to be long-lasting, but not truly permanent—which is what makes it so versatile and natural-looking. Most clients require two initial sessions to build the perfect shape and color. After that, a maintenance touch-up is typically recommended every 12–18 months to keep your look fresh, defined, and fabulous.

Without routine touch-ups, the pigment will gradually soften and fade over time, as your body naturally metabolizes the ink. Regular maintenance helps preserve the color, shape, and overall appearance, so you can continue enjoying the effortless beauty of your permanent makeup for years to come.

If it’s Permanent Makeup why doesn’t it last forever?

While the name suggests it’s forever, permanent makeup is designed to fade gently over time. This is actually a good thing—it allows for adjustments as your features, preferences, or style evolve.

One key reason it fades is due to the depth of pigment placement. Unlike traditional body tattoos, which deposit ink deep into the dermis, permanent makeup is applied much more superficially—just below the surface of the skin. This lighter placement creates a softer, more natural look, but it also means the pigment is more affected by the skin’s natural regeneration process.

As your skin renews itself and your body metabolizes the pigment, fading is expected. Your unique skin chemistry, pH balance, lifestyle, and even sun exposure can also influence how long the color lasts and how it may shift over time. While we can’t predict exactly how each person's skin will respond, routine touch-ups help maintain beautiful, fresh results.

How long will the treatment take?

You can expect your permanent makeup appointment to take approximately 2 to 3 hours. This includes time for a thorough consultation, detailed facial mapping and design, pigment selection, and of course, the actual procedure. We take our time to ensure everything is just right—and we always allow space for breaks if you need them. Our priority is your comfort and confidence every step of the way.

Who should NOT get permanent makeup?

Your safety is our top priority. While permanent makeup is safe for many, there are certain health conditions and circumstances where treatment may not be recommended or may require prior medical clearance. You should avoid permanent makeup if you:

  • Are currently pregnant or breastfeeding

  • Have insulin-dependent diabetes

  • Have epilepsy

  • Are taking Accutane (Isotretinoin or Roaccutane)

  • Have lupus or other autoimmune conditions

  • Have a history of keloid scarring

  • Have HIV, AIDS, Hepatitis B or C

In some cases, permanent makeup may still be an option—but only with written consent from your physician:

  • If you are undergoing chemotherapy or other cancer treatments

  • If you are currently in cancer recovery

Important Note for Clients with Cold Sores or Herpes:
If you’ve ever had a cold sore—even once—please consult your doctor before scheduling a lip procedure. We strongly recommend beginning an antiviral medication beforehand. While the treatment itself doesn’t cause the virus, the trauma from the needle combined with the introduction of pigment can trigger a severe outbreak if the virus already lives in your system.

If you're unsure whether you're a candidate, we’re happy to schedule a consultation and guide you through the process with care and transparency.

Tips for the day of Procedure:

  • Wear your everyday makeup to your appointment—especially on the area being treated. This helps your artist understand your personal style and preferences. If you're coming in for brows, wear them how you typically shape or fill them. For lip blushing, wear your favorite lipstick shade, and for eyeliner, apply it as you normally would.

If you don’t usually wear makeup or you're unsure of your exact look, feel free to bring reference photos. Just keep in mind: we’ll use them as inspiration, not a blueprint—your features are unique, and we design your results to flatter you.

  • Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning medications (like Advil, Motrin, or Aleve) for at least 24–48 hours before your procedure, unless prescribed by your doctor. These medications can increase bleeding and sensitivity during the tattooing process, which may affect pigment retention and overall healing.

If you need pain relief before your appointment, Tylenol (acetaminophen) is a safer alternative. Always consult your physician if you're unsure about which medications you can pause safely.

  • If you plan to wax or thread the area being treated—especially your brows—please do so at least 2 days before your appointment. This gives your skin time to calm and reduces the risk of irritation or sensitivity during your procedure.

Avoid waxing on the day of your treatment, as freshly exfoliated skin can be more reactive and may not hold pigment as well.

  • If you're planning to receive Botox or dermal fillers in the same area as your permanent makeup treatment, be sure to schedule them at least 2–3 weeks before your appointment. This gives the product time to fully settle and ensures your facial structure is stable for accurate mapping.

Additionally, you’ll need to wait 2–3 weeks after your permanent makeup procedure before receiving any new injections in the treated area. This helps prevent disruption to your results and supports proper healing.
